Editorial Guidelines

We ensure formal consistency and high quality of scientific publications in the Scientific Journal WSZiB. Therefore, we have developed a set of editorial guidelines aimed at standardising the form of articles and improving the editorial and peer-review process. We encourage authors to carefully read these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts. Their compliance enables smooth and effective cooperation at every stage of the publication process.

Submission of Manuscripts

  • Articles must be submitted exclusively in electronic form to the editorial office email address, in accordance with the editorial guidelines available on the Scientific Journal’s website
  • Documents should be prepared in MS Word format
  • All figures, charts and tables must be provided in an editable format, so that they can be corrected and adapted during the editorial proces

Text Format and Layout

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Text justified, with a 1 cm paragraph indent
  • Default style: Normal style (body text)

Article Structure

  • Author details: academic degree/title, first and last name, affiliation (university), e-mail address
  • Title of the publication
  • Introduction
  • Main text - divided into sections with appropriate headings
  • Figures and tables - labelled and numbered (e.g. Figure 1, Table 1), including source information
  • Conclusion
  • References - list of cited sources
  • Abstract
  • Keywords

Publication Requirements

An article may be published once the author has signed:

  • a statement confirming that the work was prepared independently

  • a statement confirming that the article will be included in the scientific output of WSZiB in Krakow for the purposes of research evaluation and academic assessment

    Download Author’s Statement

    Manuscripts are subject to review by an independent, external reviewer. The editorial team does not disclose the identities of reviewers but merely publishes a list of potential reviewers of academic papers.
