Data from the Stack Overflow Developer Survey report indicates an increase in demand for specialists in object-oriented programming, with particular emphasis on Java. At the same time, as many as 58% of companies in Poland report difficulties in finding qualified object-oriented programmers, as confirmed by information from a report prepared by Hays IT. The Deloitte Technology Trends 2025 report shows that Java developers play a key role in the digital transformation of many industries, with the number of job openings for these positions increasing by over 15% in the last year.

As a first-cycle IT student, you will choose your educational path during your fourth semester
Classes within the Object-oriented Programming path are held from the fifth semester until the end of the programme
As a graduate of this path, you can find employment in large, international corporations that design applications and systems for major business clients

The Object-Oriented Programming specialization was created for people who plan to pursue a career as a Java and JEE-based systems programmer. During their studies, students will gain knowledge and practical skills in the design, implementation, and testing of modern applications, learn about best practices in software development, and learn how to use tools that support teamwork. The curriculum also covers issues related to application security.
