Description of the scope of training
Studying Law in management translates into combining management knowledge with legal knowledge. Specialized knowledge of certain law-related areas – tax law, economic law, civil law, administrative law, labour law and social insurance law – combined with practical topics related to the following fields: organisation and management, financial management, human resource management, trade (including foreign trade) provides you with the basis to make independent decisions in the current functioning of the entire enterprise.
What will you learn?
Studying Law in management programme allows you to synthesise two inextricably linked areas of business practice: management and law. Thanks to this combination, our graduates are prepared to work effectively as managers at various levels. They are the type of managers who plan the improvement of the functioning of their departments by applying modern management techniques, and at the same time they are familiar with legal regulations pertaining to a given field. Our graduates are perfectly competent to manage business organisations and administrative units of various levels effectively. Moreover, they have the knowledge about the legal environment in which a given unit functions (e.g. the rules of entering into contracts, incurring liabilities, functioning of companies and the liability)
