On December 6, 2024, in Prof. Włodzimierz Roszczynialski’s hall at Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania i Bankowości w Krakowie, the “Session for AI: Copilot” conference took place, devoted to the topic of artificial intelligence, named after. The event gathered students, lecturers and enthusiasts of modern technologies.
The conference was divided into four sessions:
- Jerzy Jaworowski, PhD. Eng., professor at WSZiB presented a short lecture on the evolution of artificial intelligence and the stages of its development.
- Damian Widera, M.A., MVP presented the capabilities of MS Copilot in the field of creating complex reports and their transformation.
- Grzegorz Stolecki, M.A. showed the capabilities of MS Copilot in areas related to data analysis using the Python language.
- Marcin Szeliga, M.A. MVP devoted his speech to showing practical solutions in the field of creating your own artificial intelligence agents based on MS Copilot mechanisms.
Each presentation was followed by lively discussions in which participants exchanged views and observations.
Practical knowledge from experts
All presentations were given by experienced WSZiB lecturers, who teach students of Computer Science the practical use of technology on a daily basis – both in engineering and master’s studies.
Part of a global initiative
On one hand, the conference was part of a global event promoting Microsoft’s AI solutions, and on the other hand, it was an opportunity to present solutions that WSZiB students learn about during practical laboratory classes conducted by our lecturers – “Session for AI” speakers.
